In celebration of the iPhone craze
- It has been about three years since Apple released the first version of the iPhone. I can think of several things released the same year that have not kept the market buzzing like the iPhone.
- I went by the mall on the day of the release of the iPhone 4G and was amused at how we are meant to be saving, the normal reaction after a recession but the line at the apple store made me strangly optimistic about our economy. Why has it been so successful? I have my own theory and it is its applications (probably just not my own theory). I did a little research on the iPhone and was not surprised to find out the first application was the One trip, that helps organize your shopping list (ironic...eh), and also that the application came out before the phone.
- Beyond helping you organize your shopping list, the iPhone has some good educational applications and I will share three that I found exciting, I will call them my top three picks. The first will be the flash my brain application, which functions as flashcards. The cool thing about this application is that you can add photos and songs to your flashcards. - The second runner up is the Quick voice iP. It is pretty much sitting through your lecture and having your phone on to remind you of what went on. It is the iNoSnooze, which alerts you as often as you desire to check that you are awake while studying. You can download it on itunes.
