Parenting Gone Wild: Are Chinese mothers superior at producing Superkids?
- Many parents in the west scout the market for the best books from prenatal care to "my child is forty five and needs my help" books. One of such parents is Amy Chua with her recently released book titled "Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother." A book based on Chinese parenting style.
- As I listened to Matt Ridley in the video you are about to watch below, I came to the realization that a major difference between success and failure is the ability of an individual's ideas to constantly mate with the ideas of others to breed something of greater value in the world.
- Starting August 1, 2011. ETS the makers of the GRE test will be making a major overhaul to the GRE test. The new test is designed to be test taker friendly
- Starting June 2012 the Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC) will be making a change to the GMAT test; the council is adding a new Integrated Reasoning (IR) section to the GMAT test.

- It has been about three years since Apple released the first version of the iPhone. I can think of several things released the same year that have not kept the market buzzing like the iPhone. Why has it been so successful?
- The ACT isn't better suited for minorities, all it is, is an alternative to the SAT. The main difference between both tests is that the ACT is designed to test what the student has learned in High school, while the SAT tests for the problem solving ability of the student. As a result a student's performance on ether test is more about the type of student than the racial background of the student. A student with better reasoning skills, and not necessarily good school grades will do better on the SAT, while a student who is meticulous at their school work and with good grades will do better on the ACT.
- Each year thousands of students find themselves trapped in loan valley. As an alumnus of Howard University who has received nearly $200,000 in scholarships, I've learned a few tips that I'd love to share. For many, securing additional funds for college may be somewhat frustrating. How do you find scholarships that you are eligible to receive? Which scholarships do you have a better chance of winning? How can you increase your chances of receiving a scholarship?
- School is out, the sun is blazing and the fields are calling. All beautiful things in their different ways, but the fact is school is going to start again....very soon. I am here to brighten it too and tell you learning can be fun and returning to school can be the best thing after a hot fudge, with Michel Cluizel chocolate for your kids or you.
